4th place: Tesco Christmas pudding with Courvoisier VS cognac

The Tesco Christmas pudding with Courvoisier VS won the 4th place in the Virgin Christmas pudding comparison!

We haven’t tasted this Christmas Pudding, but it will be our choice to get one matured in Cognac….

Description: “This six month matured Courvoisier VS Cognac laced Christmas pudding contains succulent Mediterranean sultanas, raisins and currants that have been soaked in English cider, brandy, sherry and vintage port.”

Price: £10.00 for 907g (£11.03 per kg)

Health (per 100g): 310 calories /2.2g saturated fat

Review: This is the most expensive of our puddings and more expensive than the M&S luxury version, but not quite as good. However, it is a really tasty pudding and the combination of cider, cognac, brandy and port give it a real zing while the almonds give it a nice crunch. Fruity and succulent and lowest on saturated fat.
